Bible Study

For adults looking to deepen their faith formation, Southminster offers Bible study in two forms:

Our beloved Minister Emeritus, The Rev. Tad Mitsui, has led Bible Study once a month for our Saturday at Ten-Thirty faith formation events, discussing a topic chosen by the group at the previous month’s gathering. These can be serious topics, like, “what does the Bible say about death?” or more light-hearted topics, like, “what does the Bible say about wine?” 

On Saturday October 18, we'll discuss Miracles in the Bible. 

Rev. Tad asks those planning to attend to contact the office, as he prepares a short study paper for everyone to read and discuss when they meet, usually the third Saturday of the month. 

Rev. Taylor also leads periodical Book studies, typically just a 4-to-6-week commitment reading a single book, meeting for an hour after worship on Sundays.

Both Rev. Tad and Rev. Taylor love leading these engaging discussions with members of the congregation.
