Bible Study

For adults looking to deepen their faith formation, Southminster offers Bible study in two forms:

Reverends Ruth Preston Schilk and Harold Schilk lead a monthly "Scratching Post" discussion hour on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Lounge.

September’s gathering will take place on Saturday the 26th at 10:30 am in the Buchanan Chapel. Our topic will be kindled by an article by Troy Watson entitled: “Am I Angry Enough?”

Surely anger is not something which is in short supply. Or is it? Come out and chill with us.

Rev. Taylor also leads periodical Book studies, typically just a 4-to-6-week commitment reading a single book, meeting for an hour after worship on Sundays.

Both Rev. Ruth and Harold,  and Rev. Taylor love leading these engaging discussions with members of the congregation.
